The Dionysos's theatre |

The Dionysos's theatre is much bigger and older (it was begun in 490 B.C and altered many times). It is made up of 74 tiers which could hold more than 17000 spectators. It was the Greeks who were the ones who invented the theatre, in order to worship the god of wine and of the arts during their great celebrations : the Dionysia. |
